With that said, bed bugs typically migrate towards human populated areas, such as hotels, schools, offices, buses, airplanes, trains, etc. While they tend to populate in several environments, they are most popular in single family homes, apartments, and hotels. The reason why bed bugs tend to migrate towards human populated areas is because they are attracted to warm-blooded animals/mammals.
